About the Author:
Roselis von Sass (1906-1997), born in Austria in 1906, spent her childhood and studies in Europe.

While still young, she came to Brazil with her father, settling there permanently. She married and lived in the couple's home, located on the outskirts of São Paulo. Indeed, her deep attachment to our land and our people became a defining characteristic of this very special writer.

Early on, her sensitive soul learned to discern reality from appearances, and even as a child she discovered that: "It is not the place where we find ourselves nor outward appearances that make people happy; happiness comes from within, from what the human being feels inside themselves."

Everything that happened throughout time was recorded and preserved. Nothing was lost. It can also be said that all human life, which began millions of years ago, was filmed and archived until all human destinies are fulfilled according to the Law of Justice.

And the author has, as a striking characteristic of her personality, the gift of scrutinizing this past, narrating the great tapestry of events that were recorded in the great book of human life.
