Dark Sector is a new shooter for PC, initially released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles by Digital Extremes, the same developer behind the Unreal and BioShock series.

You play as Hayden, a CIA agent who must navigate a world where biological weapons have become a terrifying nightmare that has spread throughout much of the population.

On a mission in an Eastern European country, he is exposed to a biological compound that causes a mutation in his body: a powerful blade grows on his right arm, ideal for long-range attacks, solving puzzles in the levels, and more.

The puzzles presented throughout the game require the use of fire, electricity, ice, and more. You can capture fire with your blade and throw it at a barrier blocking your path.

As the adventure progresses, you will acquire new abilities, such as guiding the blade through the air, eliminating multiple enemies at once, becoming invisible, and using it as a shield.
